College of Pharmacy celebrates its new students

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Ajman University organized a day of induction for new students to facilitate their transition from school to university life. The meeting included the introduction of campus policies, study skills, leadership, classroom technology and others.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the College, Dr. Najeeb Hassan, in which he congratulated the students on their admission to the College. He also reviewed the unique role of the College in providing academic programs aimed at nurturing and producing a new generation of skilled pharmacists who provide the best services and health care to the community.

Dr. Muawiya Al-Tabakhah, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, gave a speech on the pharmacist's career options, highlighting the effective roles of pharmacists in health awareness, enhancing drug safety, improving scientific research, and providing simplified pharmaceutical counseling to the community.

For her part, Dr. Nehal Abdullah talked about the academic policies and plans, and details of the study plan of the College of Pharmacy.

It is worth mentioning that this meeting is one of the most important events organized by the College for new students as it helps in introducing them to the college and their colleagues, and to get acquainted with the culture of the campus and the values and traditions of the college and their future responsibilities as pharmacists.
