Best Practices for Planning Educational Assessment and Curriculum  Mapping Workshop

Prof. Nageeb Hassan, Dean, college of Pharmacy  and Health Sciences along with Dr Moawia Al Tabakha, Dr. Moayad  Al Omar and Dr. Sana Hassan, faculty members of the College participated in the Second Regional Faculty Development Workshop. This workshop was entitled the “Best Practices for Planning Educational Assessment and Curriculum Mapping” it was held in Al Ain University, Abu Dhabi Campus. Organized by AAU in collaboration with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

The workshop was presented by Dr. Fadi M. Al Khateeb, Director of Assessment & Accreditation and Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy in Texas A&M University along with Dr. Linda S. Garavalia -Associate Dean of Assessment and Professor in the College of Pharmacy in Western University of Health Sciences. The workshop contained various subjects, lectures and discussions provided by a group of expertise from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to show experiences in the field of education and training pharmacists and evaluation methods of pharmacy curriculum to keep abreast with the developments of the pharmaceutical sciences.
